Techniques Series | Masking with This Little Piggy

Techniques Video Masking using This Little Piggy from Stampin' Up!

I am loving the new This Little Piggy Stamp Set and just could not resit a spot of Masking with it…. before this series ends next week! But, do not despair… there will be more Techniques Videos! I promise

How fun is that Pig! Just so cute… and so easy to Mask too.

Miss Piggy is stamped in Basic Grey Archival ink… and then the stamp, stamped off onto a piece of Sticky Note (those ones where the sticky is all over work best!). This is then cut out… yes, it’s fussy cutting… no, I’m not sorry… she’s just so cute! You then cover the stamped image with the sticky note mask… and add ink!

This alternative Z fold card is also quick and easy to do…

Measurements:

Card stock – 21 x 14.8 cm (scored on the long side at 3 and 10.5 cm) (8 1/4 x 5 7/8″, scored on the long side at 1 and 4 1/8″)

Designer Series Paper – 7.5 x 14.8 cm and 3 x 14.8 cm (3 1/8 x 5 7/8″ and 1 x 5 7/8″)

Whisper White – 7.5 x 14.8 cm (3 1/8 x 5 7/8″)

I have used the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper for this cards…. I am still loving the watercolour effect of them

Make It Monday Video Tutorial Fold Flat giftbox using Fresh Florals from Stampin' Up!

Oh I am so excited for this project this week! I have been trying for ages to get better at 3D projects, and recently I feel like I have finally got to grips with making boxes (and making them look pretty!) so…. this box started life as some packaging, really really boring white packaging…. and look at it now!

This generous sized box is super easy to make AND it folds flat…. perfect for making a few in advance!

I am loving the 2017-2019 In Colours, I have used Fresh Fig and Powder Pink for these boxes, along with the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper.

Measurements:

Card stock – 9 1/2 x 9″ (25 x 23 cm)

Score on the long side at 1 1/2, 4 1/2, 6 and 9″ (4, 11.5, 15.5 and 23 cm)

Score on the short side at 1/2, 2, 7 and 8 1/2″ (1, 5, 18 and 22 cm)

Designer Series Paper

2 pieces that measure – 2 3/4 x 4 3/4″ (12.5 x 7 cm)

2 pieces that measure – 1 1/4 x 4 3/4″ (12.5 x 3.5 cm)

2 pieces that measure – 1 1/4 x 2 3/4″ (3.5 x 7 cm)

I haven’t stamped today….. I know, its really naughty of me! but that Designer Series Paper is just so pretty that stamping would be wasteful!

In Colour Week | Tranquil Tide

Stampin' Up! 2017 In Colour Tranquil Tide Happy Birthday Card using Fresh Florals and Happy Birthday Gorgeous

Tranquil Tide is the last new In-Colour… its a beautiful deep teal colour, a colour like no other in our colour collection. It pairs beautifully with Emerald Envy, and works really well with pinks and purple tones.

This fun card was inspired by a card I spotted on Instagram a few weeks ago, and was borne from the idea of dry embossing Vellum. The vellum on this card was embossed with the Hexagon Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and is a super soft layer over the fabulous Fresh Floral Designer Series Paper.
