The brand new Spring / Summer catalogue launched in the early hours of this morning, and I’m totally in love with all of it! There is definitely something for everyone here, from cute images and dies that are great for children’s parties, to birthdays, and more thoughtful occasions, We have it covered this season
I have another reason to celebrate today, its my Birthday! and I have to say I have been well and truly spoilt by the husband; three new dresses, a mountain of bubble bath and bath bombs, chocolates and a new daylight lamp for my craft room. I am a lucky lady!
I have had my hands on some of the new products for a month now, and a couple of bits and bobs a little longer (It was killing me not being able to show you what I brought home from Brussels!). This stamp set jumped out at me from the moment I saw it back in November; although one of my fellow demonstrators thought this gorgeous rose looked like a cabbage! I love it!
I’m a totally sucker for all things technique-y and this set is designed for 2 step stamping – layering one stamp over another – the rose is actually 3 different stamps, and the leaves are 2. There is also a beautiful bird stamp and a really unique starfish in this one too.
The rose is stamped in Wisteria Wonder, some layers stamped off more than others. While the leaves are actually in Mossy Meadow, and both leaves and the rose are fussy cut (it didn’t take as long as you might think!) I pulled out my most loved embossing folder for this one, Lovely Lace, and embossed a piece of Wisteria Wonder card stock, before mounting everything together onto a Pear Pizzazz card base.
Have you got your copy yet, I’m off to Staples to get some more envelopes (bad planning, more catalogues then envelopes!) and I will be popping some more into the post later on today
Have a great day
