Inspire.Create.Challenge #114 | Inspiration with Blessings of Home from Stampin’ Up!

Welcome to StampinByHannah today for a fabulous inspiration challenge with Inspire.Create.Challenges. This week’s challenge is inspired by the lovely Kate Bolt, hop over to the Inspire.Create.Challenges blog to see the original inspiration card.

I’ve used Kate’s card as a sketch, but also as inspiration to use the Heart and Home suite. I LOVE this suite, particularly the Designer Series Paper… although I haven’t used it on this card.

To cretae this card you will need:

Usually you would use Memento to stamp when you’re colouring with Stampin’ Blends, however as Stampin’ Up! inks are water based they also work with the markers. So, here I’ve stamped the floral image 4 times in Basic Gray ink, and then coloured with Stampin’ Blends

Inspire.Create.Challenge #113 | Sketch Challenge

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah this week. I am so sorry that I’ve been a bit quiet this month, things have been a little busy at home and I’ve been a bit distracted. Anyway, today sees the start of a new Inspire.Create.Challenge. Hop over to the blog to see the sketch, and check out what the rest of the Design Team have created before you make your own project.

Seeing as today is Mother’s day today, I thought it only right that I share the cards I made for my mum and mother-in-law this year. I clearly had the sketch in my head when I made these, although I wouldn’t usually share these cards here. I’ve had a bit of creative block recently, and despite making several cards this week, these were the first I actually liked! Don’t you hate it when you cant seem to make anything nice?!

These cards use the Simply Succulents stamp set and Potted Succulents dies, which I am so excited to see carrying over into the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #112 | Farewell 2020-2022 In Colours!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah today. This week Inspire.Create.Challenge are celebrating our out-going In Colours; Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade, Magenta Madness and Misty Moonlight. I really will miss these colours when they leave us at the end of April. They are so bright and fun. I haven’t used all 5 of them together on a card in ages, but I actually have 2 cards with this colour combination to share with you this week. Check my Instagram later in the week for my second card!

I love to layer colour, actually I just LOVE colour (and layering!) and so the natural choice was for me to reach for the Hello Beautiful Stamp Set to create a fun layered stamped card today. This stamp set is so cool, with lots of little pieces to add texture and interest, as well as those big smudge style stamps.

To create this card you will need:

Inspire.Create.Challenge #111 | 3D with Beauty of Friendship

This weeks Inspire.Create.Challenge is a fun 3D theme. I am NOT usually a 3D crafty girl… but I do like a challenge. I dug back into my own blog-y archive and found a cute little milk carton box, and altered it to fit a Body Shop Hand Cream that I currently have sat on my desk (anyone else have to have a hand cream in every room and handbag?).

To make this project you will need:

Measurements:

Designer Series Paper – 8 x 8-1/2″

Scored on the long side at – 2, 4, 6, and 8″

Scored on the short side at 2, 6-1/2, and 7-1/2″

Thanks for stopping by today. Please hop over to the Inspire.Create blog to see what the rest of the Design Team have made.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #109 | Hand-Penned Petals

Hello there! Welcome to StampinByHannah today! I have a fun card for you this Sunday, for the Inspire.Create.Challenges Design Team. This challenge is using an inspiration piece (which you can find over on the Inspire.Create blog), and I’ve changed it up by using different Designer Series Paper, and different layered elements.

I absolutely adore this Product Suite; Hand-Penned, for this Designer Series Paper and the super pretty Stamp set. I am lover of watercolour and so I stamped this image on watercolour paper and then watercoloured it before using the coordinating dies to cut it out.

To create this card you will need:

Don’t forget to hop over to the Inspire.Create.Challenge blog to see more inspiration using our fabulous inspiration piece.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #107 | Birthday Rainbow of Happiness

Happy New Year! This week Inspire.Create.Challenge is back with a theme; Birthday. I will admit that this is partly due to the fact that it is my birthday this week, but also January is a great time to make a bunch of birthday cards to last you all year long.

The Stampin’ Up! January-June catalogue arrives on Tuesday, so today is a bit of sneak peak of one of the new stamp and die bundles, paired with one of my favourite Annual Catalogue sets for the sentiment. The Rainbow of Happiness stamp set and die bundle give you a heap of different rainbow sizes and styles, although the one on this card just uses die cuts.

Handmade rainbow birthday card using Rainbow of Happiness from Stampin' Up! with StampinByhannah

The Designer Series Paper in the background of this card is available for FREE from Tuesday as part of Sale-a-bration, and was the inspiration behind the colour combination on this card. But, it did need turning down a bit behind the die cuts so I added a layer of Vellum.

The sentiment is taken from Artistically Inked, stamped in Mango Melody, and die cut using the stitched rectangles dies.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #106 | Colour Challenge with Blessing of Home

This week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge Colour Challenge is a tricky one; Cinnamon Cider, Crumb Cake and Early Espresso. I reached for some new products that are coming in January; Blessing of Home and the coordinating Designer Series Paper for this one, mostly because the paper has Cinnamon Cider already in it. This card isn’t my usual style, however I really like the overall effect.

The flower image was stamped in Crumb Cake, and the coloured using the 3 challenge colours and a Blender Pen. Finished with a trio of Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots, and one of the very cute Bumblebee trinkets (both of which are already available)

Hop over to the Inspire.Create blog to see what the rest of the Design Team have created with this unusual Colour Combination!

Inspire.Create.Challenge #105 | Christmas Season Sketch

Hello! It’s time for another Inspire.Create.Challenge sketch challenge. I absolutely LOVE this week’s sketch! It’s so fun, with plenty of scope to create something unique yet similar to another card.

I cannot get enough of the Christmas Season stamp set… and I am SO pleased that it’s not retiring at the end of this month. Do hope over to my Online Store to check out what is retiring in the Last Change Sale.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #104 | Bright and Bold!

Hello! Yes… 2 blog posts in one weekend from me, that’s almost unheard of recently. However, I recently attended a Stampin’ Up! event and have the fire back in my belly, my crafting itch has got the better of me for the time being and I am loving sharing again. I am hoping to maybe hop onto some Facebook Live’s again soon (now that the babies are both sleeping better…. but I will let you know when I have that in my diary!).

Anyway, enough rambling, this week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge is a theme “Bright and Bold!” and so I reached for a rainbow and the Brights collection of colours.

To create this card you will need:

I do need to admit here that the holes in the banners are punched with a retired handheld punch, but you could use a Take Your Pick tool instead.

Each banner piece is 2 x 4.5 cm in size, and then I hand cut the banner ends using my Paper Snips. They are then popped up on Dimensionals to give them a little bit of life on the card.
