Make It Monday featuring Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! UK for Summer Customer Thank You Gifts

Make It Monday with Stampin' Up!

Hello! Welcome to Make It Monday, the day of the week I release an awesome new video tutorial for you lovely people! Yay!

I am so excited about today’s post, mainly because I’m hoping that the first batch of these have arrived with the lovely people that shopped with me last month, but also it’s my 1st wedding anniversary today! I’m off to Newcastle for the day with my lovely husband who surprised me a few weeks ago by getting tickets for Chicago the Musical for tonight! 😀

Right, so what have I got for you today? Customer Thank You gifts!

Make It Monday featuring Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! UK for Summer Customer Thank You Gifts

These super cute envelopes each contain a wrapped tea bag! I took delivery of these teabags a few weeks ago, and the smell that filled my office when I opened the box was delightful, so I’m really hoping that you enjoy them as much I as I did!

So far I have two different styles of these, but I can see me making a whole heap of these over the coming weeks and months, using different Designer Series Papers, stamps and colours of card stock! The one with the pears uses the Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper while the other is the Affectionately Yours Speciality DSP.

They are so easy to make with the Envelope Punch Board. I really don’t use this fabulous tool as much as I should! super handy for those awkward sized cards where a standard envelope just wont do.

Make your first punch and score at 2 5/8″ and then follow the instructions on the board, super simple!

Card stock – 1″ x 7″ for the belly band, plus a few scraps for the punching.

Stamping on Designer Series Paper!

Quick and Simple Thank You card using thoughtful thanks from Stampin' Up! UK

I am always looking for ways to get more use from the products I buy, ways you can stretch your stash, ways to get creative without buying heaps of stuff! I love crafting (and shopping), and I am lucky enough to have half a room dedicated to my hobby (and business) but its very small and I am quickly running out of room! So, time to get creative with what I own rather than buying more (even though I would love to shop!)

Quick and Simple Thank You card using thoughtful thanks from Stampin' Up! UK

Last month I had the Fruit Stand pack of Designer Series paper out on my desk almost all month, and this piece of paper really called to me to be used simply on a card! trimmed slightly smaller than my card front and simply stamped with the sentiment from Thankful Thoughts I almost called this one done…

but it just needed an extra something, and some splatter of Flirty Flamingo and Gold Wink of Stella finished this one off! I love this card so much that my customers will be finding a variation of this in the post over the next week or so!

Thanks for checking out my blog today, and I’ll see you again tomorrow for something that’s not a card!

A Fruity Thank you….

Simple Thank You card featuring Fresh Fruit from Stampin' Up! UK

Hey folks, sorry for the lack of a Make It Monday this week, but the last few weeks have been totally crazy here! For a bit of back story, I’m a nurse, but I have recently changed jobs (for the 4th time in 7 months) and am now in a management role (which I am absolutely LOVING!) but I’m working some crazy long shifts over the summer and its not leaving me a whole heap of time for you guys – so August might be a quiet affair around here; however, I’m not going anywhere, my shop is open 24/7 as always and I am always here to answer any questions you may have, just understand it might take me a couple of hours to get back to you. Right, thats enough of that, lets get on with a card shall we?!

Fresh Fruit Thank you card using Stampin' Up! UK products

This card is super simple to put together, even though it looks complex. The card base is in Peekaboo Peach, and is stamped in Peekaboo Peach on the corners. I’m loving this Designer Series Paper too, very fresh and summery, those apples are so cute!

I’ve been playing with masking again on this card, I stamped the Thank You first, and then stamped the fruits over the top in Watermelon Wonder, Pear Pizzazz, and Peekaboo Peach with Smoky Slate outlines and dots.

My Online Card Class using this stamp set closes at 9PM tonight! I am so excited about getting this one out to you lovely people, my plan is to get it out to you over the weekend, so hopefully by this time next week you’ll be making fabulous cards like this one!

Make It Monday | Fresh Fruit Box

Fresh Fruit Fresh Stand Designer Series Paper Candle Box using Stampin' Up! UK Products

Make It Monday with Stampin' Up!

I have a different sort of project to share with you today. Over the past few weeks I have been sharing card videos for Make It Monday, but today I thought I would make a box instead. I was totally inspired by the Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper on this one, when my pack of paper arrived I pulled out all the papers and immediately thoguht of these awesome candles that have been in my candle draw for AGES! and I couldn’t find them – I was so disappointed, but I found a couple last week and so this box was born….

How cute are these?! and although I made them with Giant Tealights in mind I’m sure that these would also fit some of those very nice chocolate balls too.

The box is simple to put together, in a Pizza box style. I didn’t add a thumb notch on the Melon Mambo version but the Old Olive one I used my 1″ circle punch to take out a little piece at the front just big enough to put your thumb nail in for easier opening

Fresh Fruit Fresh Stand Designer Series Paper Candle Box using Stampin' Up! UK ProductsThe flower is taken from the Fresh Fruit stamp set. I’m totally loving the 2-step stamping effect of this stamp set, with the solid layer stamped off once before stamping on the project for a lighter tone, and the outline image stamped at full strength. I’m also enjoying this colour combination; Flirty Flamingo and Old Olive, very fresh – great for Summer (if it ever arrives!)

A Fruity Thank You

Customer Thank You Cards using Fresh Fruit from Stampin' Up! UK

If you have ever placed an order with me you will know that I love to send a Thank You card to my customers. If you have ever shopped using my Code Club Code, you will know that you guys get even more! I just LOVE to spoil my customers, you are all awesome, and I wouldn’t be here without you.

Thank You cards using Fresh Fruit and Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!

I made a stack of these Thank You cards last week for the ladies that attended my Catalogue Launch Party at the beginning of the month. They also got cake and a notebook on the night too.

These cards feature the stamp set that is going to be my Stamp of the Month in July – Fresh Fruit! I have been LOVING making heaps of samples using this set, saying that there is fruit to be seen here! Just pretty flowers…

Customer Thank You Cards using Fresh Fruit from Stampin' Up! UK

The colour combination was totally inspired by the matching Designer Series Paper – Fruit Stand – and I have used Peekaboo Peach, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight and Watermelon Wonder on these cards. The Thank You was stamped first in Peekaboo Peach and masked off using a bit of sticky note, then the flower and leaves were added, and the cards finished with a strip of Designer Series Paper.
