There isn’t long left to get the Blended Seasons stamp and die bundle, or the lovely Watercolour Pencil Assortment 2, as they both retire on the 31st August. I know I have shared a heap of projects using this bundle over the past couple of weeks, but my Stampin’ Sisters have been just as busy with it… shall we see what they have been making too?!

This week’s Inspire.Create.Challenges challenge is a bright and fun colour combination! We’ve had a fair number of grey days here recently, and I think that this colour combo should brighten anybody’s day!

I’ve been playing with the Blended Season’s Bundle again… I’m sorry, I know that this is two days in a row… but I just cannot get enough! I have actually now put it away in a drawer so I can’t see it, because I feel like every project this month has featured this fab stamp set!

August has been crazy, with most of my weeks spent on the road with my day job, so simple stamping is the absolute order of the day, and this card was whipped up in a matter of minutes. A base of Bermuda Bay with a mat of Basic Black to make the stamping POP!

Fussy cutting isn’t my speciality, particularly fussy cut sentiments, but I think I just about got away with it here with the Congrats heat embossed onto Melon Mambo card stock, and layered over those Lemon Lime Twist stamped leaves. A hint of Bermuda Bay splatter and a trio of Rhinestones and this card is done!

How to make a fun Coloured Christmas Card using Blended Seasons from Stampin' Up!

I have been having a heap of fun with this month’s Exclusive stamp and die bundle: Colour Your Season… I shared a fun Facebook Live with you last week with heaps of ideas using it, and I have a free class download when you spend £45 in my shop this month using it too! The cards I’ve shared using the Blended Season’s stamp set, so far, have been pretty generic…. until now. Please let me share my first Christmas card of 2018!

I shared a sneaky peak of this one on my Facebook Page, and got a few questions about how I coloured the images. It’s really very simple, and I will do a Video Tutorial soon… but basically it’s just an ink pad and a Blender Pen. Blender Pens are different from Blends Markers (I know, it’s confusing!) but a Blender Pen contains clear ink, and allows you to pick up ink from the ink of a ink pads and colour with it (or spread Watercolour Pencil!)… they are an absolute staple in my craft room…

The trick is to be fairly quick, and not rub over the same spot of card stock too much as Blender Pens have a nasty habit of ‘piling’ card stock… and that’s not a pretty look!

The rest of the card came together pretty quickly, with some die cuts from the coordinating Stitched Seasons Framelits, and a Gold Faceted Gem to finish

Last week I celebrated my 3rd Wedding Anniversary. I am a little shocked that it’s been 3 years already… but then when I think of all the things we’ve done since we got married, our wedding feels like forever ago! I will share the card I received over on my Facebook Page… James always sneaks into my crafty stash to make me a card (and this year he had fun with Embossing!)

Of course I HAD to make James a fun anniversary card! I had SO much fun making THIS card for Make It Monday last week, and so really wanted to re-create the idea for this card. The colours I’ve used are Night of Navy, Gray Granite, Coastal Cabana, and Berry Burst. I had intended to add some white ink splatter too…. not sure what happened!

I do have to admit that this card also uses a scrap! Yes!… an actual scrap. That circle of Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper is the of cut from THIS card. Nothing wasted!

The sentiment is stamped in Whisper White Craft Ink onto one of the Stitched Labels from the Blended Seasons Bundle cut from Vellum. So pretty!

I LOVE doing my Facebook Live’s… I try to do one every other Sunday, but I missed a fortnight ago and so moved it to last weekend, so you’ve had 2 this week (You lucky people!). This week I thought I would share what I have been making with the Blended Seasons Bundle. This fabulous stamp and die bundle is EXCLUSIVELY available in August, and it’s while stocks last too, so Grab it while you can!

As usual I made a few cards on this week’s Facebook Live…. not that they all went to plan! Check out the video for all of the details…

This stamp set is one of those that I can see me using for years… there are some really useful sentiments, pretty images, and don’t get me started on those dies! There are 3 label dies in the collection, that cut some really lovely stitched details.

This second card was where things started to go a little awry! It has some pretty details with some embossing and ink blending… How pretty is that Balmy Blue colour?!
