I’m home from Stampin’ Up!® On Stage Live in Brussels. Before I get into what I did, I just want to say a great big ‘ Thank You’ to all you lovely ladies that emailed to check that I was OK, and that we weren’t affected by the tragedy in Paris. While we weren’t directly affected, and no one’s travel plans were disrupted on the way home, we were with a large number of French demonstrators, some of whom live in Paris. On Saturday morning Stampin’ Up!® acting CEO Sara Douglass took to the stage, and we observed a minutes silence, everyone holding the hand of the person next to them.
On Stage is a 6 monthly Stampin’ Up!® demonstrator event, that takes place across the globe. With several different markets, Stampin’ Up!® hosts the Live event in a different region each 6 months, with the other regions hosting Local events – this time it was Europe’s turn to play host, and 650+ demonstrators from across the UK, Netherlands, Germany, France and Austria descended on Brussels for 3 days of crafting fun!
I can’t tell you everything we did, but we got sneaky peaks of products coming to you in January, a look at the next Sale-a-bration event, and a chance to play with some great crafty bits and bobs. PLUS time with our demonstrator friends, a stack of freebies and recognition of our achievements.
I have to say one of my favourite points during the trip was breakfast, just look at that waffle! I didn’t have one of these every morning, but sitting in a street cafe, with good friends and good waffles is something you would struggle to beat!
As I have mentioned previously one of the many perks of being a Stampin’ Up!® demonstrator is free goodies. Unfortunately I can’t show you the stamp sets we received as they are in the upcoming Spring/Summer catalogue (I know, we haven’t even had Christmas yet!) but we also got a lovely canvas bag, pens, a notebook, and that lovely gold water bottle too. As well as some lovely Make and Takes with shiny new products that I can’t wait to show you!
On the Friday evening my wonderful Team Leader Sam threw us a lovely evening of food and wine in her hotel. We had so much fun discussing new products, ideas and other stuff. These sandwiches were lovely, although slightly un-orthodox, arriving in what appeared to be a large bread bun until we unwrapped them and the lids fell off!
I can’t wait for the next On Stage event in April 2016, we’re off to Telford, UK! I would LOVE you to come with me! Find out more about the joy of Stampin’ Up!® today!
