Hey folks! Today’s card is one that I made for my lovely team leader a few weeks ago when I cashed in some reward vouchers. I love to send a little hand made something with my vouchers, and at the time I had the Bird Ballard suite out on my desk as I was designing the projects for last months Crafty Selection Box. So I made this pretty friendship themed card to send with my vouchers.
I love this bird stamp. Here I’ve stamped it onto one of the large Stitched Nested Labels die cuts, and actually I’ve left some of the stamp off! I do love this look, with the branch appearing from the edge of the piece. The birds are subtle-y coloured with Blends. I’m not the greatest Blend’s colour-er and I tend to go for hints of colour rather than a completely coloured image (although I did do that HERE!)
This card isn’t in your face, it’s subtle, elegant and very girly! I think that’s the Designer Series Paper, this piece in particular is so pretty and delicate.
The card is finished with a stitched circle in Petal Pink stamped with the Friendship sentiment and that lovely antique effect Bird Ballard Trinket
