Hello! So, I’ve been meaning to blog this card for a while. I made it last month during a virtual Team event, and then life got crazy busy with the arrival of my baby boy (George), and blogging and crafting sort of fell by the way side a little. However, I have started to find pockets of time in my day to get back to the blog, and so it’s time to share this card!
When I say, pockets of time, I’m actually typing this on my phone at 1am after a night feed! Oh the things we do!
Anyway, this card uses a lovely bundle of stamp set and dies from the upcoming January-June Mini catalogue. Quite Curvy is available now though as an early release, and I’ve had loads of fun playing with it!
Here both the leave border and the birds have been stamped and then coloured by using a Wink Of Stella brush pen to pull the colour across the image. I love this technique, which gives you a lovely, subtle shimmer to your stamping
Anyway, I am hoping to find 20 minutes or so on Tuesday morning for a quick Facebook Live and a bit of a sneaky peak at some of the new goodies that are coming in the new year, as well as new about some classes and kits I have coming up to. All depends on when my pre-order turns up though as I should have been here today but has been delayed!
