Hi folks! So, I had hoped to get this post up a little earlier, but the babies had other ideas! Anyway, better late than never right? This past week I managed to get back to my Thursday night Facebook Live’s, I would love to promise this slot every week, and that is my aim, but there might be a few misses before I can get back into the swing of them properly.
Exciting things are happening at Stampin’ Up! this month as we prepare for the launch of the 2021 Annual catalogue. Now, I need to apologise at this point because I put a post out last week with a form for catalogue requests, but then had some blog-y issues and so lost all the sign ups! So, if you would like a catalogue, please pop over to my Request a Catalogue page again. I am so sorry.
I thought for my first Facebook Live back, we’d take a look at the new Stampin’ Up! 2021-2023 In Colours. I am loving these 5 colours, and cannot wait to get properly inky using them!
Aren’t these colours so pretty. The 5 In Colours aren’t designed to work together usually, but rather to slot into the standard colour collection and introduce more ‘on tread’ colours, However, this year, I think anyway, that these 5 work really well together.
Take a look at the Video replay for a look at the colours in relation to some of our existing colours.
I did also manage to make a card using Fresh Freesia and one of the new stamp and die bundles too! The Pansy Patch stamp set is so pretty and I can see heaps of fabulously coloured flowers, both stamped and/or die cut coming with this one
The stamps and colours I used this week aren’t available to customers just yet, BUT you could add any of these items to your Starter Kit if you decide to become a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, and join the fun!
I can’t wait to stamp with you all again, thanks for stopping by today.

What else is coming…
Ok, so I have been quiet recently, after having my second baby in 2 years, life has been busy, and my little corner of the internet has been lower down on my priority list. Pop over to my Facebook Page to be notified when I go live… I will be sharing the new In Colours and some other new goodies!
Also, I will be opening a few spots for this years In Colour Club next week, so keep your eyes on the blog for that…. and I’m aiming to get back to some regular Stampin’ Inspiration emails once the catalogue is out!

If you’ve been here for a while you’ll know I love an inky technique, and as Stampin’ Up! have recently released their own Ink Blending Brushes I had to grab a set and have a go!
I’ve done Ink blending on the blog before, but always with a sponge, and while I like using a sponge for inky techniques, these new brushes make ink blending super easy.
The Blending Brushes are super soft, and so don’t leave those harsh lines that you can sometimes get with a sponge. I find that they blend colours together really well, particularly if you are using the same brush for two colours.
This first card blends Magenta Madness, Rich Razzleberry and Gray Granite, and I used the same brush for Magenta and Razzleberry. The stamp set here is So Much Love, and its a really pretty subtle floral that I head embossed onto the card stock before ink blending.
The sentiment and card base are both Gray Granite, and I think this really sets off the pinky/purple colours really well.
The dies I’ve used on both of these cards are the Stitched Rectangles dies. I find these so super handy, and the smaller dies are perfectly sized for loads of sentiments.
The Blending Brushes come in packs of 3, which I think is really handy as often 3 colours blended works really well. This second card I’ve blended Bumblebee, Granny Apply Green and Pool Party, for a really fun look.
The Blending Brushes are really easy to load with colour, just tap them onto your ink pads to pick up a little ink. I do tend to tap off once onto some scrap paper, but then its a simple case of using circle motions to sweep the ink onto the card stock. I should add, I do usually start off the card stock and work my way on with the colour, but this is probably just a habit from using sponges.
This card also uses the Sweet Strawberry stamp set. I just love this leaf stamp, it just adds the perfect level of something-ness to a background.

Welcome to StampinByHannah and the second Pootlers team blog hop of 2021!
This time we are all sharing projects using goodies from the new Stampin’ Up! January-June Mini Catalogue. I have a bit of a soft spot for a pretty floral stamp set, and so when I saw Pretty Perennials I knew it had to have a space on my craft room shelf!
Today’s card is pretty simple, I used the stamps to create my own Designer Series Paper, and then added a sentiment. The colour combination is so pretty, and not one I use often; Basic Black, Blushing Bride, Pool Party, So Saffron, and Soft Seafoam.
The sentiment uses the Birthday stamp from the Pretty Perennials stamp set, but the ‘Happy’ is a die cut from the Well Written dies. I think these pair so perfectly together, what about you?
Thanks for stopping by StampinByHannah today, please check out the rest of the team and their fabulous projects by clicking the links below, and because we have more than 25 blogs taking part… do check out the others on page 2!

I have been loving the new Flowering Cactus Product Medley from the Stampin’ Up! January-June Mini catalogue, and made a bunch of cute projects with it for my January Kit Class. However, I still have a stack left to share and so I thought I’d share this one with you today.
The Product Medley includes everything you need to make a bunch of projects; a stamp and die bundle, Designer Series Paper, twine and Embellishments. All you need to add is the ink and card stock!
I love this card, as its not too cactus-y (is that a word? It is now!), and is a really simply colour combination of Pear Pizzazz, Mossy Meadow and Highland Heather.
A quick and simply card to put together, just a bit of Designer Series Paper and a scrap of stamped card stock. Lovely

Hi all! Gosh, it’s been a mad couple of weeks. Poor baby boy had to have his 8 week vaccinations, and that’s basically had me sat on the sofa cuddling him for the past week, leaving me with no time to craft. However, I did manage to find 10 minutes a couple of weekends ago to have a quick colour of the fabulously fun Darling Donkeys for this weeks Inspire.Create.Challenge.
The theme this time around is ‘Cute Critters’ and we have so many in the Stampin’ Up! catalogues at the moment, I can’t wait to see what you all come up with.
This Donkey is stamped in Memento Black ink, and coloured using both Light and Dark Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends, with a hint of Dark Mossy Meadow and Dark Poppy Parade for that rose.
Darling Donkeys is one of the current Sale-a-bration stamp sets, and is available for free when you spend £45 before the end of February.
I’ve paired this chap with some of the new Colour Family Designer Series Paper in Gray Granite. This paper will be available in the next Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue, or you can get it now if you grab a Stampin’ Up! Starter Kit.
Do check out the Inspire.Create.Challenge blog for more inspiration and to add your own Critter Creations!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah and the first InspireINK blog hop of 2021. This month we were challenged to create a project using new products from this years January-June Mini Catalogue, and I am loving so many of the things in it I had a hard time choosing!
But then I saw this card on Instagram and was totally inspired to re-create it using the Simply Succulents stamp set.
The panel of watercolour paper was die cut using the Rectangle stitched dies, and I added a wash of Bermuda Bay ink as a watercolour. This is so quick to do; I put a bit of water on a clear block and add a dab of ink either directly from the ink pad, or using a re-inker. Then its just a case of painting it onto the watercolour paper. I often add the colour in layers, letting each one dry in between to give the piece more dimension,
The succulents are stamped in Memento Black ink once the panel was completely dry, and the panel was then added to the card base which had a layer of Bermuda Bay Designer Series Paper.
I love a bold sentiment, and to create this will often heat emboss a sentiment in white onto a strip of Basic Black card stock. I did consider adding some pearls or sequins, but chose to keep this one embellishment free.
Don’t forget to check out the rest of the Design Team’s creations by hoping around the blogs linked below

It’s a special day today for our family, its the day my husbands Great Nanny turns 100. Now, we would have dearly loved to be celebrating all together, but of course we can’t. I can, however provide her with two handmade birthday cards. So that is what I have done.
The first uses the brand new Pretty Perennials stamp set, and the coordinating dies. I absolutely LOVE this stamp set, a sweet floral stamp set that makes my heart happy. Here I’ve stamped it in Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Old Olive, and used the matching Perennial Petals dies to cut them out. I also added one of the more detailed dies to the large flower for a bit more interest.
The sentiment stamps are lovely in this stamp set too. Here I’ve stamped ‘Happy’ in Memento Black, and then heat embossed ‘birthday’ in white. The Designer Series Paper is called True Love, and is a lovely collection of black and white patterns and florals. The 100 is die cut using the Playful Alphabet from some retired Gold Glitter card stock.
I have a fun class coming in February using the Pretty Perennials bundle and the True Love Designer Series Paper, so do check back for that.
The second card uses both new Sale-a-bration goodies, as well as a retired gem. Now, I wouldn’t usually share a project that features a retired item, but I know so many people that have them (or similar) that I felt that I could.
This card uses the lovely Paper Blossoms Designer Series Paper which is currently available for free with a £45 spend.
The 100 is die cut from Petal Pink card stock, a colour which is featured in the Designer Series Paper, and layered over a vellum label cut from the Tasteful Labels dies.
This card is finished with the birthday sentiment, taken from Blossoms in Bloom.
